Maybe it's a male thing we tend to let the farts loose with more abandon and the sheer force and pressure can carry passengers along - we have the shinkansen of bowel movements.

Hmm, it seems to me Brianna was describing something a lot more potent than a wet fart. Sure, when I was very young I recall a couple of accidents, but I'd describe them as shits or squits as opposed to sharts.
