Sorry, Josh. I struggled with them until my mid-30's, and not due to neglect...just who I am, I guess. Still get one now and again, and I'll be 50 soon. Don't mean to be doom and gloom, but its not something limited to adolescence...not for some, anyway.

How's yer stress factor these days? Not sure if that really has something to do with it, but years ago it was suggested to me that it was a factor.

My local Chinese take-away has an open plan kitchen on full-display to customers, so we can see food being prepared and cooked by the numerous staff employed. Two staff members are constantly observed keeping the place clean on both sides of the counter... which is pretty Imperative given the high turnover of student customers.

Maybe your local Chinese is a shit-hole, but mine isn't.

Mine always clears up unless I've been eating/drinking lots of sugar.

Then I just chug water for a couple days straight and it goes away again.

My brother-in-law was a health inspector for 5 years. His advice is to eat what tastes good and try not to think about the kitchens, because they all have their issues, regardless of the angle of the staff's eyes.

There's actually a really famous pizzarea in new haven he wouldn't eat at for years because of something he saw.

I've been to a couple of local fast Chinese food restaurants that have been cringeworthy.. Many sell fried chicken wings, which is weird enough, but they are "pre fried" and kept in a huge bowl near the fryer!! they just re dunk them in grease to make them hot again..

I would have left but I was jonesing for some shrimp and broccoli.
