Hundreds and hundreds of baby frogs in the garden.

I guess a house with a pond wasn't such a good idea after all.





These things are TINY. I've been scooping them off the path and returning them to the pond in case the dog decides to torture them before having a feast. (He's like a cat in that respect.)

Probably a futile exercise.

You're right though. I doubt smartphones will ever be as easy to use as laptops & PCs on account of being so small.

No - Its excellent - I would have taken an hour with a normal mobile keyboard - and predictive text would have killed me - 2 minutes was great - It was better when I finally turned on the SLU Mobile skin which really helps

The entire office is at the McCain rally.

My boss simply left a note on my keyboard. "If you get caught up you can leave early."

It is really nice to have silence, and not be rolling into my three coworkers in our awful little temporary space since our new facility STILL isn't finished. Also I can listen to my own music without ridicule. I guess I shouldn't complain.

I have a friend who lives in Florida and at certain times of the year, the whole area behind her house fills up with frogs. I can hear them when I'm on the phone with her. It's like a froggy symphony drowning out her voice.

Haha! They're so cute... and I've been waiting ages for them to get big enough to leave the pond, but I didn't realise there would be so many. Some are gonna get splattered. It's inevitable.

I hate whining (honestly!) and know it could be a lot worse: we could be homeless, we could be unable to afford his medication, our rent and groceries, etc. A lot of people have it worse than we do, with bigger families than just two people.

But when I realize it could be a lot better for us if my brain just worked like it's supposed to .. meh. I'll be back when I'm more cheerful.

Aw, I don't think you're whining. Hell, I can relate to everything you're saying. As for, "if my brain just worked like it's supposed to...." -- you mean my brain isn't alone in that respect? That's good to know.

It may seem like other's problems are more challenging than our own, but that doesn't make our problems any less valid. I just hope you'll be OK.

My other half is 45 minutes late back from teh pub.

And I'm not pining. Honest.

I'm so emo all the time lately.

And my stomach is so fucked up from stress that I could only eat half a salad this evening. Oh, and an english muffin this morning. I usually eat much more than that but it's been this way for two or three weeks.

I should be a size 6 by the end of summer. Make ready with the anorexic jokes, guys.

I want to cry but I'm all cried out.

It's a really long story. A really long, messy, fucked up story that I don't think I'd ever have enough time to tell.

I'm just really frustrated with my family right now. And work. Well, beyond frustrated. I'm kind of at the point where I'm considering what the best way out of life in general would be. I'm just way too chicken to do it. Or too lazy. I haven't figured out which.

Sorry. I'm typing too much. My fiance hasn't called me back and I'm just totally on the edge. I'm tired of being the bad guy when all I want is for everyone to shut up and get along.

As part of the perks you got with working at the company I had a free Flickr account for the duration of my time there. I kindof expected it to go to basic when I quit but the last time I logged in it said I was good until April 09, which would've been a year since I last popped the free code in.

Logged in today to see a notice that my account is going to be disabled, not basic'd, in six days unless I purchase a renewal.
