Definitely looks cool. Unfortunately it looks like it's just a render.

I don't know how you could have it be see-through and still have the circuitry for the phone though.

If the circuitry were small enough, they could stick it in the hinge. We're not there yet but I could see this happening eventually.

There is wiring that is almost completely transparent or at least will pass for it. LCD monitors use TFT transistors and the wiring of those transistors runs across and up and down the LCD face and are in front of the backlight.

TFTs themselves are transparent enough, but I don't think they'd do for communication circuitry.
