So, for the first time in my life I think I've run out of spoons, and it's not even 8am yet.

That cold/flu thing I got at the end of April? Well it never really went away, the cough is getting worse and to cap it all off today I've woken up with a fever and a throat infection. Again. I use the term "woken up" loosely because I didn't actually sleep at all, I just laid in bed coughing and feeling sorry for myself. I don't think I've slept more than 4 hours in any night in the last 3 weeks.

So as soon as the clinic opens I'm going to try to get an appointment with my doctor. Usually you have to wait a week to be seen (oh the joys of the wonderful NHS and it's waiting lists) but I'm starting to panic here. I don't want to be having pneumonia thank-you-very-much.

Now, where can I buy some more spoons? Catering supplies, hello?

I'm totally stuffed (tired for non Aussies) I've worked that much in the last week and a half that I'm gonna bloody stay up and enjoy one night off though. Split shifts combined with single Mumdom is a tough gig. Only two more days to go doing split shifts and I get another day off! Yay!

On the plus side I will earn a grand+ this week I think. Bye bye bills!

Saw the doc this afterrnoon and am now armed with a copious amount of antibiotics. If it's not cleared up in a week he's going to refer me for a chest x-ray.

And he said very well done for quitting smoking :-D

For those that don't know (lol where have you been I've talked of little else for months now!) my SL partner is coming out to Australia

Saturday morning his time he leaves Puerto Rico for California to stay with his favourite aunt for a few days. She's the only relative he likes lol. She is gonna buy him a warm jumper because you cannot get such a thing in PR apparently

Wednesday at 11pm he leaves LAX bound for Aus and arrives in Sydney first, thru customs and then on to Melbourne with ETA 10:45am Friday...

Can I just say again....

I have so much to do and I am being totally ADD and not doing anything cos I cant stick to one thing and finish it! waaaah! I have that "I'm about to perform in public" feeling in the pit of my stomach for the past two days... butterflies have taken up permanent residence there.

WTF am I gonna be like on Thursday?

Oh, and maybe a good thing but also stressing me badly - work is SUPER busy got a deadline to finish a buncha stuffs on Thursday.

*deep breath*

OK so I am out of my skin excited and totally panicking.... can y'all tell?

Joshie big and get lots of rest! I had that virus that's going around just after Easter and it laid me low for 3 days.. A work colleague tried to do the "right thing" and come into work and got himself a case of pneumonia so don't be a hero! It might not be the piggie flu but it's a bad one anyways
