R.I.P. Captain Tim

It seems all I do in this thread is post death notices... and here I am once again

Captain Tim Brown was Fantasy Fest King in 2008, which means he raised thousands of dollars for our AIDS Help charity & others. He was beloved by many and his sudden passing during Fantasy Fest week this year was a huge shock to all of us.

A memorial site has been created for him -

Captain Timothy Brown

Our 2008 Queen Kate Miano performed with a life-size cut-out of Capt Tim at this year's Coronation Ball on Oct 23rd because he was in Miami having surgery.

Thank You, Tim. You were a hero...

So I didn't make it in time to say goodbye to my grandmother before she died today.
I will miss her but I was not very close to her. My aunt and my mom and my cousins were much closer to her.
She was 88 and lived a long good life.
Kind of feel weird since having my female cat die in my hands last week upset me way more than my grandmother and I was expecting both. Though I think it was because I saw the cat everyday and was only seeing my grandmother every once in a while.

I'm sorry you couldn't say good-bye to your grandmother. I think your reaction regarding your cat and analysis of it makes perfect sense. Your cat was part of your daily life and routine, so his absence leaves a big hole. It's been years since my cat died, and I still miss him.
