A Moment of Your Time, S'il vous plait!

So, I was trying to watch football, but in my local market, we're being shown Washington versus St. Louis.

Hardly exciting.

HOWEVER!

On the WB, I noticed that THE NEVERENDING STORY III (I didn't even realize, until today, they made a third one in 1994) was on. I have been watching it.

I've never been a big fan of Jack Black's comedy... but I'd just like to point out... he's the head of the "NASTIES", the typically '80s (even though this movie came out in 1994) evil goth kid group in "THE NEVERENDING STORY III: please make it end".

FAIL.

Some movies should just never have a sequel made.
Labyrinth is another I LOVE but would shudder at the thought of a remake or sequel.

I remember seeing Neverending Story when it first came out at the cinema but have never seen any of the sequels and really don't want to either. Think it would kind of spoil it if I did. Like Mac I would shudder if they made such a sequel to something like Labyrinth or Legend. I prefer the mystery and don't need to know the how, why and where.

I loved the first Jeepers Creepers but then they had to go and spoil it all with explanations in the sequels. Made me vey mad

Oh God, prequels are often worse the sequels.
If the story cannot stand alone and needs tons of explaining in another movie then it just loses it's appeal to me.

Some movies I enjoy sequels because they carry a story on.. but not in a reinventing the plot way.
