C'mon, Facebook is actually pretty cool. It has all the features that Myspace doesn't (READ: privacy controls!) that made me pull my hair out that someone actually paid money to buy Myspace. Then again, it was Murdoch...

I felt the same. I just sent my request under my RL name and with a pic. I feel so freaking exposed.

I dunno, I see some good friends there already and frankly it is nice to have a outside connection with them other then SL only. SL is not forever but friends can be.

Now here's a dilemma. I haven't got a facebook account but if I did what should I do...

Fake name with a RL photo?
Or RL name with a fake photo?

Because dammit, if I use my RL name, which is distinctly female, and put a RL pic with it, which looks distinctly male, people are going to either laugh or accuse me of lying.

Isn't it in the TOS somewhere that you have to use your real name? Whats the rules there about that?

ETA: God dammit they ask you for your gender and they only give two options. Is it possible to hide that from public view, once the account is created? Ditto with the name I give on registration?
