Saying hello after a long goodbye

Hello Forum members!!!

I have decided, due to a boredom inducing episode of flu, to have another crack at secondlife to see what's been happening lately, how much things have chnaged.

I first joined in 2004 and stayed til around....I can't really remember, but for those with long memories it wasn't long after the snow sims were put up and I think private sims were just starting to emerge. Before anyone asks, I probably didn't know you then, I ran in small circles and there are only a small number of names on here that I may have said "Hi" to once or twice

I wanted to make a new Av because 1. I wanted a fresh start and 2. I couldn't remember my old password, or even the logon details for my old Av's email account. So technically I am an alt, but a permanent alt (I'm sure I have a bit of cash left in the old account that I need to get hold of).

Things have changed so much now, the private sims are like a constellation when you zoom out on the map now!! Sad to still see lag, I though my brand new laptop would have some improvement over the old comp I used to use, but no

I was pretty underwelmed with the starting area as well, total confusion!!!! Bring back the Parrot.

Anyway, hope to see you around if I decide to stay my name is Katy Winterwolf

p.s. Is there a spell check on these forums? I REALLY need it!

There's not a spell check tool as such, I believe, but there is a check like in the recent programs that point out suspected errors.
