Hi, I've actually been lurking and rarely posting since May. I usually try to sneak around introducing myself, but since I had my username changed I thought it might be a good idea. Old name was 'Serafina Shackle', but to be honest I only use that SL account because it has grandfathered tier. I've decided to entirely migrate over to this account, despite leaving prem and land fees on Sera...whose money I intend to steal everyweek.

It's kind of weird, through creating virtual characters how you can grow attached and relate to one and not another, when they all sort of come out of your head. Isn't it? I guess outside influences and conformity might pull you in a direction you grow less fond of though.

Anyways these types of posts always make me feel so flustered...so...hi?

Congrats on your new virtual life angle. I know EXACTLY what you mean about relating to some over others. Mac is actually an alt who was born later then my main. Though Mac is about the only one I ever log in with or use. lol. So.. I get what you are saying.

I actually made Shi I think in Feb. (seems so much longer) and got really attached to her, but I suppose in a way it seemed like betrayal so I didn't want to stop using my main, who I had put so much effort into. I often do this in most MMO I play, eventually I move on to a second or even third character, with much guilt. Also when I was little every single one of my stuffed toys had the privilege of sleeping with me and I would rotate them in them a line every single night so a different toy got attention. I wonder what Freud would think?
I feel very good overall about my decision anyways.

Hello there, Shi! Welcome to our little crew -- and thanks for a thoughtful first post. Ben is my second alt, and I tend to switch between him and my other alt. My original account is still around, but all he does is run a shop (the two alts live off the money he makes!)

Hi and welcome. Interesting point about the alts, I only just made my first one last week, and I do feel a bit weird about logging in with her instead of Midi, but I'm trying to think of them as sisters.

I lol'd at the bit about your cuddly toys in bed, I used to sleep with an incredible array of soft animals because I didn't feel right choosing between them. In fact I'd do that now if hubby didn't object
