Very sad,

It really doesn't seem that long ago that she was described as "an angel singing ,accompanied by 2 cellos playing guitars"

Those songs were so much a part of my young teen years.

I am a baby boomer. I assume Ned is also. The generation just before the boomers ( born just before or during WW II ) are sometimes called the "war babies" or "pre-boomers". This includes Mary Travers, Judy Collins, Bob Dylan (and even John Lennon). They were the folkies, and beatniks and civil rights marchers. When I was an adolescent , they were the generation of young cool married couples down the street. They were the older but still cool folks I looked up to. To realize that the war babies are starting to die is a real kick toward the idea of my own mortality.
