| Account Closed | I wish the studio recording of this was online somewhere. Jane Motoro's voice has a really haunting Mira Aroyo (Ladytron) quality about it in this song but it doesn't come across in this performance. (In fact very little does because it's such a bad recording.  )I have it in my Independence FM radio station directory for GTA:IV, and a couple of weeks ago I had just begun to chase a car whose driver I had to assassinate when the jingle at the beginning of this song came on the radio, and I was like "Jesus, that's SO appropriate!"  |

My Mood:  SL Join Date: 9 July 2006 Blog Entries: 1 | One of my favourite songs of all time, and probably my favourite lyrics. Couldn't find a decent version on YouTube, so this one needs the volume cranking a tad... I wrote the song two hours before we met. I didn't know your name or what you looked like yet. Oh I could have stayed at home and gone to bed. I could have gone to see a film instead. You might have changed your mind and seen your friends. Life could have been very different but then, something changed. Do you believe that there's someone up above? Does he have a timetable directing acts of love? Why did I write this song on that one day? Why did you touch my hand and softly say. Stop asking questions that don't matter anyway. Just give us a kiss to celebrate here today. Something changed. When we woke up that morning we had no way of knowing, that in a matter of hours we'd change the way we were going. Where would I be now if we'd never met? Would I be singing this song to someone else instead? I dunno but like you just said, something changed. And with that, to bed.
