Cristiano was kind enough to gently remind me that I had not posted to my blog in a while. Today I want to make an appeal to men.

Why men ? Why not EVERYONE ? Of course, I'd like everyone to be happy and depression-free.

However, men of my era in the USA (and perhaps younger men and in other countries) were systematically indoctrinated with the "strong but silent" mantra. Don't complain. Don't whine. Don't be (insert vulgar comparison to women). Do your job and...

I was off my Effexor for too many hours recently, and my CNS doesn't like the funky things that does to me. I'm back on it now, in addition to my Wellbutrin and Gabapentin. I hate having to schlepp down to the pharmacy but I hate doing the mail order thing even more. Oy vey ! Like some of you, I cannot live without my cocktail very well at all.

I'm not doing too well today. I'll spare everyone the details. I do hope you are having a good day, though.

My world is my wonderful 11 year old son, my family, and my work. My work is my 20 sims here on SL.

Unfortunately, I also have a case of chronic depression that has varied in intensity from age 6 or so. Right now, it's probably mild to moderate, although it's gotten severe at times.
