    Television Shows
I've not been watching tv much recently, apart from the new Heroes series which is brilliant :)
    Movies
In the past few months, on dvd, No Country For Old Men, best thing I've seen in years.
Looking forward to the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Favourites from the past, any Coen brothers movie, any Kubric movie. Some French language films, Jean de Florette, Manon des Source, Cyrano de Bergerac.
    Books
I have a pile of stuff that I'll finish eventually. I tend to read adventure/thriller/crime, occasionally something about flying, or music.
    Ian Rankin, scottish crime writer.
Ian Banks, genre skipping clever bugger(writes sci-fi as Ian M Banks).
Other stuff, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, and The Gulag Archipelago. Robert L Shaw, Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering, and Mental Training in Shooting by Anne Grethe Jeppesen and Anne Marte Pensgaard, obscure enough? :)
