I am *so* excited to be telling you all this - after months of hard work, my jewelry store is ready to open!!! Tomorrow, 3/28/09, is the Grand Opening Celebration!!!

Sorry I've been so bad about posting lately, I've been so busy on SL that I've been neglecting SLU.

I saw the saddest thing this morning when I was walking back from taking the kids to school.

In the road, a pizza box, with more than half of a pizza still within. It still looked yummy.

And no, I didn't eat it . I picked up the box and carried it home to my trashcan.

How sad. What a waste!

Who the heck tosses half-full...

I'm a bit shaken right now, a bit upset, and it's about something that happened a long time ago, and it's not something that I can do anything about.

Church choir practice was tonight, and our group makes a practice of sharing the good and bad things happening in our lives and the lives of those around us. I myself in fact asked the choir for prayers for a family friend involved in a car accident two days ago - he was hurt (not too seriously) but unfortunately the other driver died....

I feel a little guilty, I haven't been on SLU in weeks, and if I'm going to be a member of the community, I should at least participate once in a while! It is, of course, because I've been spending too much time in SL and not enough on SLU! Of course maybe the problem gets worse if I'm spending lots of time on SLU too. Hmmm...

Got lots more to say, think I'll put it down in separate entries though. I'd better get crackin'!
