Shutting Media on a Prim Up!

This might be in the wrong subforum, but I've not slept yet and it's brain meltingly hot again today..

I've been mesing with Veiwer 2 (well, Firestorm in this instance) web on a prim, and I like it.. But.. How do I keep the noise of it from spilling past a parcel border?

I quickly threw a test alt on, who could hear the auidio of a youtube clip from a fair few m from the parcel i'm testing on. This is.. Not ideal!

Does "restrict object sounds to this parcel". (in parcel settings) not work? I haven't run into this issue.

Doesn't appear to. I thought it would - It should, logically speaking.. But no. Unlike object sounds, chat, and audio/ radio, it appears web on a prim nicely sticks itself into the viewer of anyone nearby but not on the parcel, if they've the default of autoplay enabled. A tad infuriating, as I can see no reason for it not to limit/ restrict to a parcel. I might be doing something wrong, but I've checked, and I certainly have "restrict object sounds" set on the "tester" parcel.

It doesn't happen with BBC iplayer, but when trying a Youtube clip it did. I guess the way the whole web on a prim works, it bypasses the actual parcel settings/ media stream. But it seems awfully odd to me that LL havn't impleneted some (at least clear) method of not having media leaking out to neighbouring pacels when using this method. Sure;y there's a way, that i'm just being too tired and dim to find?

It sounds like a bug. 'Restrict object sounds to parcel' should be the correct way to do it.

It might be me.. Or something to do with the multiple viewers running on one machine/ connection.

But it is a litlte irksome that it seems to have some level of "parcel border ignorance", even if it's only for people runningmultiple viewers on one box, compared to the old, reliable parcel media/ audio system.

Oh well.
