Hi everyone

I am a student in the national university of singapore and I need help to complete an academic research survey. It will take about 15-20 minutes of your time to complete and I will reimburse you 100 Lindens within 24 hours after your survey is submitted. I know 100 Lindens is not a lot but it's a token of appreciation I am coming out with from my own pocket so I hope you can help me. Thanks!

You need to put in "prefer not to say" on questions about things like RL income, or put them at the front so people can bail out before spending a quarter of an hour on a survey they're not going to complete.

As the founder of the SLU Research Study Welcome Committee, I'd like to thank you for one of the very few professional and competent surveys to be posted on this forum. The repetition of questions (for validation purposes) was a little overdone, but overall the quality was much better than what commonly passes for a survey.

Hi Beebo thanks for the welcoming message. =)

I know it's a bit lengthy I am trying very hard to hit my target of at least 200 valid/completed responses by mid or end next week, keeping my fingers crossed as I bump around in SL.

I have removed the 3 repetitve statements I spotted with the help of u guys thanks for your feedback my head must have been a lil bonkers when i set up that questionnaire as I hadnt slept for 24hrs then lol...

I passed the survey on to some friends. They don't really believe they get L$100 out of it and think I'm scamming, but hey, their loss!

I don't ever do surveys .... it is one of my pet forum hates to be honest BUT

I am going to do yours (in a mo when I am finished posting this). Why? This is the first time that I can recall that someone has seemed genuine, appreciative and dare I say human. You have taken on board constructive criticism (with grace) and you seem to actually want to engage with us rather than just attempt to tap into the community.

You can keep your 100L$ .... I am happy to give the time because I actually feel you appreciate us doing so. I wish you success

Fang also cleary identified her role as a student, the institution she was associated with, how long the survey would take, and constructed a reasonably professional set of questions that showed due diligence in survey methodology. Very refreshing.

Thanks just finished disbursement for day 4 and I am about 55-60% towards my target now hopefully i can pull through to at least 90% before I close my survey on thursday.

Your survey seems well intentioned. After looking at the first two pages I said to myself I can't answer this. Because most of the questions had to do with how other unknown av's interact with me and I don't do that for the most part.

Oh most of these interactions w other avs can be w those u know or do not know it's just general interactions w av not necessarily strangers but if u don't feel comfortable answering that's ok thanks for attempting the survey. =)

I am just done w the admin for day 5 total completed response count is at 127 yipee! My in-world recruitment not too successful so far but I will press on till my survey closes in about 44 hrs' time will try to get as close to 200 as I can. Thanks guys wish me luck!

Just to update u guys my total completed surveys is at 144 now, probably going to close it end tomorrow here which is in about 30 hrs time as I need to get started working on the results real soon. =x

I have just passed my 200 mark in completed responses yippee! due to the sudden surge in responses from yesterday night I have delayed my survey closing time to 17th October 1030 (Malay Peninsula Standard Time/GMT +0800).
