Congratulations!!! We have narrowed the search down to at least a million people with the search parameters of "whats-his-face the financial guy" We will continue to narrow down the search using the parameters: "You know, that guy at the party" "What was his name again" "You Tell Em Steve-Dave!" lol

My Mood: SL Join Date: January 27, 2007 | This is interesting. I can't add too much insight here. I have never met a Linden in RL or SL, but I suppose since I am planning on attending the Concierge party this weekend, I might meet one or two. Since I am basically a nobody in SL, except for owning one half a sim, I doubt if many of them are going to be rushing over to meet me and ask for advice. However, what the company needs are GROWN UPS as managers. My impression is the company seems to be run like a bunch of junior high students cutting study hall. "Hey!! Let's start doing THIS!!!" "Yeah! GREAT idea!!" "But..um won't it screw up this?" "Who cares..STFU." I see 2 big problems. One is that the article alludes to the notion that continued exponential growth is a good thing. In my view it is not and is in fact one of the biggest problems. The second is the notion that the new CEO will have to be someone Rosedale is wildly enthusiastic about. Translation - Yes man. Sooz

Business: Peregrine Salon | Taco Rubio and I will be applying to be co-CEOs. We appreciate your support in advance, but will gladly step aside if Siggy Romulus decides to apply.

| archived ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't know much about this kind of stuff but I do know that it's not uncommon for CEO's to fire themselves with the interest of growing the company in mind. The CEO of my company did this recently (he also happens to be the owner) and we experienced a 20% growth increase last year. Sounds like Philip will still be very much part of LL.
