Basically it works the same way cut and paste would work in a text editing environment. This has been 'fixed' for the next catznip and I expect most other TPV's to follow suit. | |

Client: Singularity | I'm going to bump this thread up again, because I've found a solution that should make everyone happy. Due to an ongoing problem with griefers crashing sims during live music events all over the grid, I was looking for a way to prevent such attacks on my sims. But, mindful of my negative experiences with the OneVoice security orb, I wanted a solution that would give people without ill intent a chance to reduce their usage. I found the ABTech Avatar Script Monitor on Marketplace, here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p...l-Pack/3085557 It's only 350L$ and very versatile. It lets you choose the script limits you want, and how you want it to respond. I set mine very high as I'm mostly concerned with griefers and people with extremely high usage. It has the option to display only, display and warn high script users, or warn follow by teleport home. Yes that's right, it lets you give people a chance to remove scripts rather than booting them without warning. The warnings appear as a popup, they're hard to miss, and state exactly what number you must reduce your usage to in order to remain. The time before teleporting is adjustable also - I set mine to 60 sec. There's also an option to make group members immune, which I turned on so it doesn't kick out our performers etc. It's a really cool gadget that politely enforces limits. I hope others planning events will choose this device or a similar one.
