I was sure there was a similar thread, but I can't find it. Perhaps I'm thinking of another forum. So... I'm starting one and someone can spank me if I'm wrong.

Care to share your silly or embarrassing SL confession. Something about YOU, not slamming other people.

This hardly seems necessary for me as I am constantly demonstrating exactly how much I don't know about just about everything but here goes.

I don't wear prim or mesh lashes because I can't fit them. Yes I've seen the tutorials, but I just can't work in that small of detail. I get frustrated half way through and give up. I recently tried the new mesh gift lashes from Maitreya, but after I was done editing them it looked like two different sized spiders were eating my face.

Yes, yes I know for a while I did wear prim lashes, but... ... I actually had my partner at the time fit them for me.
I've changed shape since, just enough that they don't fit anymore, so thank goodness for tattoo lashes.

they made some really silly pictures..anyways i was sending them to her..she knew him to and we always played little gags on each other..

anyways we had a giggle and i told him when he came back what we did to him while he was away..he started laughing when i showed him the pictures also..

what i didn't know is my girlfriend was gonna photochop them and send them back to both of us a few days later with captions and sex toys edited in...

needless to say that didn't go over so well with him and those pictures..
so he ended up being mad at both of us for a good couple of weeks..
which taught me a lesson to never do that again to anyone..
but he did come back to being friends with us..and we let him take some silly pictures of us and photochop us and pass them around like she did..

i don't know if this is really a confession since it was kind of all out there for everyone to see back then..maybe just a silly story..
but really i don't have much to confess..i can barely keep things in like that without having to tell someone..
maybe i have auto confess option on in my viewer or something..

sex sounds gestures. And of course I laughed my ass off thinking it was the funniest thing ever!

Oh and then there was this time I made an alt to help out a friend.
She thought her man was cheating on her at this sex sim (in alt form), so I offered to have sex with this man so she could analyze how he emoted. Sure enough it was him.
But then she forgave him and all was happy. And he never knew it was really me.

One time during a really graphic gorean roleplay sex scene the guy I was playing with just got totally silent. Five minutes, ten minutes... I wasn't sure what to do. Just leave? Wait? Say something. So I gave it a few more minutes and hoped he wasn't doing what I was starting to think maybe he was doing.

Then he came back and said "Sorry, someone walked in and I had to explain why there was a naked girl on my computer"

Now, he didn't say his mom walked in, but that was immediately what came to mind so I never played with him again.

Oh, I also hate being bald in SL.

I hate it more than being a naked ruth with my head up my butt.

I've logged off if I can't attach hair because of lag or technical problems.

It's also why I've been so slow to embrace mesh hair, in case others see me bald.

Yes, I'm that shallow.


ETA: I remember being in this fairly tense/emotional discussion with my partner a couple of years ago, not really an argument necessarily, but a difficult discussion, and after it was all done he says "Ok, can you attach your hair now?". To me, on my screen, I was wearing hair but to him I was bald and the timing wasn't exactly great to bring it up I guess. I ended up being more upset that I was bald the whole time then I was about the issue we had been discussing.

I live in terror of being logged out while I'm in a dress, a male skin, and a female shape. But mostly because I usually don't have the right shoes.

Also, pixel sex makes me laugh uncontrollably and I feel compelled to mock people who do it in local chat.

Generally when I'm at home in SL, I'm naked. If I'm thinking about shopping, sometimes I'll check my intended destination on the map and if there's no one there, I'll TP in without bothering to dress first.

And yes, thank GOD for the "pressing letter keys always starts local chat" option but I've been switching viewers and uninstalling and reinstalling so much over the past few months it still catches me out at times because it's never the default.

ETA: Oh and the other day I did a Pancake was DJing at a gig and as usual all in mesh... and hadn't checked which alpha I was wearing... and I was wearing a dress with mesh panties and well, those who couldn't see mesh got a lovely view of a disembodied hoo-hah >.>

Mine is kind of dumb, because I'm not even logged in when it happens, and it's repetitive. Most of us use voice for hockey games, in group chat. When my RL wife joined the hockey league a year or two ago, I often will come in the room and watch her games and join her in the voice chat. However I have this, uh, problem I have sleep apnea and tend to fall asleep easily if not engaged with something. I snore really loud lol

So it wasn't unusual for me to fall asleep right next to her but it was awhile before I learned that she and her team were laughing at the really obnoxious snoring coming through the mike and making it harder for them to even hear her. Then the team was going to record it and make gestures of it lmao

I do have an apnea machine and don't snore at night now but if I fall asleep in the chair or something it's bad. I am learning to either stay awake in the computer vicinity or go to another room and I live in fear of someone in the league making the snoring gestures.

Back in my earlier days, on an avi I had before Trasee, I met a guy who I thought was nice. He invited me to his place after a bit of dancing and sweet talking, and I agreed. I have no idea why I did, but I did.

Well, I assumed it was his place because that's what he told me. Of course, the owner of the house showed up and said something in local chat. I immediately teleported away, extremely embarrassed.

I did send an IM apology to her, explaining what happened. She was very nice about it. The guy, though, laughed and used the excuse "she should have locked her doors." So, I muted him and never talked to him again.

In my early noob days I once walked around a shopping sim with my prim cock showing and had forgot to remove it until some kind stranger sent me an im and told me. I was so mortified lol

Now and again when trying clothes at my sim on I've accidentally hit the landmark in the folder and found myself standing in said store completely naked lol. Now I try and remember to remove all landmark from folders

I spend 75% of my time in sl stark naked, hidden behind a fullbody alpha because i'm too lazy to get dressed, and id rather see the world and everyone else's creations than my own av anyway.
The only time I un-alpha her and get her dressed is for a product shot. I'll wear whatever she shot last plus the styling accessories until i'm tired of looking at it, then its stripped down and back into the alpha until the next thing needs pictures taken.

I've always found looking at other people's avatars and appreciating their choices far more interesting than dressing up my own.
