You can read the thread, however what gave me that idea was a response to my post 139. My post 139 was;

Moving on... Your characterization of ‘talking shit about women’ is a fabrication at best. You spin another tall tale by claiming I used the term hysteria directed at anyone in this thread.

Clearly I have been talking shit to people who have been talking shit to me.

I must be the only person here who does not read and respond to what someone posts on the basis of gender. If I have an opposing opinion, think a post contains misinformation, is wrong, stupid, etc. that conclusion is based on the words contained in the posts involved - period.

Rather than using the phrase ‘chattering away mindlessly’ or using the ‘happy drunk’ smilie, perhaps I should have referred to people who snipe at me with more traditionally SLU accepted terms such as ‘dumb fucks’, ‘twats’ and ‘cunts’?

It DOES seem that a few folks are allowed to be misogynistic here, and even feminists ignore it. That doesn't even begin to cover the non-misogynistic posts in which some posters are allowed to demean those that are deemed to be on the wrong side of a discussion.

Your definition of twat was quite generous. I, and I'm not alone in it, view it as a lesser form of calling someone a cunt. In addition to that, it has been discussed here often enough that those who are using it KNOW that they are using it offensively.

Do you believe for one second that if Mr. B were to revert to that, that he wouldn't be banned?
