Over the last few days rezzed objects owned by various tenants have vanished with out a trace in in my sim. Some times these objects return in a few days but most of the time they are simply gone for good. All these objects are set for different group ownership, and are owned by different people.

The latest to go bye bye was a whole store. This is 3 days ago and it hasn't come home. I own the store in question so if someone returned it to me it should have crawled back in to my lost and found. If some one deleted it, it should be in my trashcan. It is not in ether location.

I opened a support ticket with LL but the phase "pissing in the wind" keeps echoing through my head.

Similar things have happened to me recently. I rez something, and... it's just gone. Nothing in trashcan, nothing in lost and found.

I've had one tenant mentioning the same thing. She rezzed objects (one at a time) that she wanted to unpack and they vanished.

That was a week or so ago. It's one of those things that are really hard to debug as you can't replicate it consistently

My solution for these various periods when the asset server is wonky is to not log in until these kinds of threads stop appearing in the forums. This solution has worked pretty well for the past seven years, though I do fall behind in my shopping.

It happened to me not too long ago. I bought a dress(Hippy Fever i think) from G&N store, tried rezzing and it went "poof". I can't find it anywhere even with crtl+alt+t. Tried camming up and down but no signs of the product. Contacted the store owner but didn't get any reply for some time. There's no sign in my Lost & Found folder. Waited a few days, this time I bought it from the marketplace, tried rezzing again and same thing happens. 200L went bye-bye.

I re-bought the item and it --as always appeared in my inventory -- so I WORE it and went home and dropped it .

The item was wearable and not that expensive but I can't do this all the time.

One item that disappeared was from a late in RL creator and rather pricey. I asked for a replacement or refund. Linden told me that I should contact the dead creator --and when that didn't fly quoted the TOS to me .

I felt like "you were stupid enough to go along with this so shut up."

How can it be our world if the world is disappearing --and RL money is too hard to get to toss it in the pixel winds .

your error was not being premium years ago so you are on a shitty "new age" inventory server. Not much more to say about it.

Had a lot of residents with the same issue, some moving in and furnishing almost complete homes to return the next day and find a large portion of it missing.

Its been a rough couple of months stability wise, can appreciate hiccups may occur, but I haven't seen item loss like this in a long long time.

In my case, 100% gone. Parcel prim count (errr... land impact or whatever the hell it is now...) remained the same before and after the rezzing attempts. All those prims lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die...

dunno if something to do or not but if the Sim iddle break some scripting object might be that happend to you? the way to fix the broken items is resetting the scripts but if is a rezzer thing dunno where it goes.

Just adding a few friends have mentioned this happening over the last few days/week also. I had it happen to some degree, but the item came back the next day.

Well LL answered my case and completely missed the point. I got nice talk about how none copy items vanish my inventory once rezed. Which I know. Its not that something vanished from my inventory, its something that was rezed for 3 months grew leggs and walked off.

I don't care about the shop, its a copy item by the way. I can rez a new one. Its the damn fact that the one that was there is fucking gone.

Oh. and when I went to comment on that, my support ticket failed to load.

It's been happening a LOT to my clients/guests/customers (whatever name they are this month) . I am replacing things and luckily I have an honest group.

well at least LL is being consistent - first they bought you items missing from the Marketplace "Buy a gift and have it not arrive" and now they bring vanishing possessions "Rez the thing you've had for several years and watch it disappear".

And don't get me started on the items 'returned' to me from a Sim I got pushed out from and never ever re-appeared in my Inventory....

I tried 'Premium Support' and was sent a nice link to the wiki about items not coalescing and also a suggestion that I should clear my inventory cache using the official viewer and all would be ok - then I had a lightbulb moment "How do you discourage folk from using alternative viewers?...."

@ Maggie - that's pretty standard - its almost like they don't read the first note you send them, though I imagine it depends on who you get as much as what the problem is.
