While I can't promise this thread will be anywhere near as long as my last drama thread (you know the one, shh, don't say his name!), hopefully it will prove to be entertaining!

I like to write a detailed background, but it seems it's completely off point, sorry! Since unnecessary emphasis is being placed on trivial things, I've shortened this bit. Here's exactly what happened:
Person says something in group.
I ask out of curiosity, not actually saying I would do anything.
Person sends a friend request, TP and group invite right away anyway so he can see me.

I temporally accepted the friendship, and even said this:

and, just to add to that, there was this from one of his random IMs where he sent a random friendship offer a while back as well, to which I responded:

[12:12] Vaelissa Cortes: I tend to reserve that for those I know well and speak with on a regular basis, nothing personal.
[12:13] Other Person: np

Anyway, after accepting the TP...

Right away I saw his eight foot tall beefcake avatar and knew it would never work (apparently he did not read my profile), but kept quiet to be polite. Unfortunately, after arriving, things turned into this right away...

[17:12] Other Person: your not a mouse?
[17:13] Vaelissa Cortes tilts her head, "a mouse? No, just random bits tossed on."

[17:13] Vaelissa Cortes though I could ask much the same of you, but I shall refrain for now.

Note, the door he was talking about was easily 10 feet tall.

[17:17] Other Person: all SL scales say im porportinate to rl
[17:17] Vaelissa Cortes: I don't see how Gor related to height .

I was immediately ejected, unfriended and muted. All I did was point out his actual height.

Sadly, this person does not seem to be capable of rational thought, or even acting in even a remotely mature manner. What's worse is he thinks he is right and, being muted, I can't point to simple facts. People really do need to get a clue, their avatars are huge and have terrible proportions with tiny arms! Don't knock us people who actually know what we're doing just because you're a complete idiot, thank you.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd think a height thread could occur without posting the log of someone whose RP ad, friend request, TP and group invite you accepted with no intention to follow up on.

It's probably more a statement about me that I read the log and figured that sounded like average day in SL. I was promised drama dammit!

Maybe I just hang out on the wrong side of the SL tracks than everyone else or something. In my travels I see 8 ft tall avatars on a daily basis, random strangers who call me doll or hit on me at least once a week and conversations like that log all around me.

I actually feel bad for the guy. And I do occasionally puts stupid pick up lines received in my picks to warn other guys "what not to do."

I got something somewhat similar yesterday, from some random guy who gave me the up & down look, while he AO twirled around me. By the time I'd seen the IM, I had already tp'd from the store. After I answered what was a simple question (not rude), he sent the friend request, which I ignored. He then sent the TP and an im'd "come dance" (mind you, he met me in a store & seemed to be looking for Dark Alley). Without even looking at where he was tping me to, I just ignored it and said, "Sorry, I'm busy." And, wonder of wonders, I heard nothing else from him period.

He asks what's up with the ears & tail. I saw nothing rude from him until you started to lecture on measuring height with prims and detectors. Truth is, most people are actually happy with whatever it says on the edit shape thing.

I had to read your profile after reading all of that. You do have a lot of info in your profile to read, and if I were in world, I wouldn't be bothered to read it all. While we all have our ideas of what we find rude, I consider most of your profile to be rude. But, it's your standards. So, do you. Maybe I missed something, but you im'd him after he posted something in group chat about RP. Then expected he should read your profile first before answering? Even though you weren't really interested in his RP, but tp'd to him anyway just for shitz n gigglz?
