SL Board Members fund Web-based 3D software?

A new 3D collaborative design-on-the-web software tool is about to be released. Here is the site, it's not quite launched yet:

Sunglass

If you check the Help Center, under About Sunglass, you will find Philip Rosedale, and Kapor Capital listed as supporters. I think the latter belongs to SL board member Mitch Kapor:

HelpCenter

Among the file formats it supports is DAE, so I am curious of it exports direct to SL?

Kinda interesting, though I think the WebGL community has already been playing with stuff like this:

Thanks

OK, now I'm done with the obligatory "obvious setup is obvious" reply - I'm looking forward to trying it out. Even if it IS facebook (Aren't there dedicated browers you can use so facebook pollution doesn't spread? I forgot what they're called...)

It's nice to see developers finally starting to provide these types of tools.

Real-time collaborative building is one of the few things keeping Second Life relevant in 2012.
