My Mood:
There are a few "End of SL, OMG they just shut down!" threads over at the website. I always end up laughing at the people who freak out like this. Every game I played (yeah yeah I know) has unannounced downtimes/oopsies when they blow something up.

With every hour it gets worse. OMG it's been an hour. Oh noooo three hours, what will I do. I haven't been able to get in since yesterday! I think something happened on FB Sims where it was screwed up for a few days/weeks.

OK, so you oldheads. What is the longest crash/unscheduled "oh shit" moment you can remember?

It was back when unrezzed people looked like newsprint. I don't remember exactly how long, but it was hours. Do people really time these things? They don't like... go out and do something instead of sit and wait? xD

Uncle says he remembers the grid being entirely down for like a day or 2 back around Thanksgiving/Christmas 2004. It was the only time LL ever paid compensation for downtime.

Two days, not bad. Well for me anyway, I've had longer, much longer, at other places. For those who depends on this for real income, yeah.. not so good. As long as I make tier for my little hole-in-the-wall, I'm happy.
