This was a first for me. I was minding my own business at the Fermi Sandbox when this avie walks up to me and starts the following (very short) conversation:

Imarii Resident: Helooooo~
Eliza Wrigglesworth: Hello
Imarii Resident: Hi there.
Eliza Wrigglesworth: Hello
Imarii Resident: Do you ever feel like you want an object for free?
Eliza Wrigglesworth: Depends on the object
Imarii Resident: Well now you can. There is a product out that will let you have any object you want.
Imarii Resident: Imagine it as never having to buy something again.
Eliza Wrigglesworth: Are you trying to sell me something to copy items illegaly?
Imarii Resident: No no no.
Imarii Resident: Just contact Vilge Resident.
Eliza Wrigglesworth: Why?
Imarii Resident: If you think it's fake or illegal, there is the proof.
Eliza Wrigglesworth: It is illegal to copy items that don't belong to you

After this little conversation, she teleported away. I sent an abuse report under Copybot/Permission Exploit, but I think that was the wrong one.

I wish I'd played along for a little while to find out more, but I was a little shocked about the whole thing.

*sighs* Agreed... picking the right category is the most annoying part of an AR.
A typical train of thoughts on this end: "Fraud... spam... umm... both... aww, screw it!"

But overall - what else could you have done? Mute, AR, wish them genital herpes and move on to enjoy the more joyful things in life.

If advertising a permission exploit doesn't fall into that category even with bacon fat and a shoe horn, I'm not sure what would.

LOL, that's crazy! Does this mean I can AR somebody every time they annoy me to the point I want to orbit them because they are inciting me to violate TOS? I could easily waste an entire afternoon filling out ARs like that at Ahern.
