And to clarify something: a 16 year old that is emancipated from her parents under law is considered an adult in most states in the US
I can verify this as well, in my state.

if its not true, we need to be able to know about it so we can avoid the trap.
If this cops were contacted, let them handle it. We are not a police force and not to sound like I'm some idiotic JLU member using lines he's learned off the TV but "it's their jurisdiction now."

Email sent as well as the checksummed database dump, contact information for myself, and a rundown of where I got the information. Hopefully, this will go somewhere.

Re: The JLU as a cult, there are a lot of scary parallels. The follows is referencing the The Advanced Bonewits' Cult Danger Evaluation Frame as the guide, however many sections we could only answer by actually having knowledge about the group beyond their wiki/logs.

Quote:
Internal Control: Amount of internal political and social power exercised by leader(s) over members; lack of clearly defined organizational rights for members.
Everything is based on what Kalel says.

Quote:
External Control: Amount of external political and social influence desired or obtained; emphasis on directing members’ external political and social behaviour.
Kalel claims to be working with the FBI. Nuff said.

Quote:
Wisdom/Knowledge Claimed by leader(s); amount of infallibility declared or implied about decisions or doctrinal/scriptural interpretations; number and degree of unverified and/or unverifiable credentials claimed.
They feel they can do no wrong.

Quote:
Wisdom/Knowledge Credited to leader(s) by members; amount of trust in decisions or doctrinal/scriptural interpretations made by leader(s); amount of hostility by members towards internal or external critics and/or towards verification efforts.
Try criticising them then answer this.

Quote:
Dogma: Rigidity of reality concepts taught; amount of doctrinal inflexibility or “fundamentalism;” hostility towards relativism and situationalism.
The law is the law, they do not see grey.

Quote:
Recruiting: Emphasis put on attracting new members; amount of proselytizing; requirement for all members to bring in new ones.
unknown

Quote:
Front Groups: Number of subsidiary groups using different names from that of main group, especially when connections are hidden.
They are not exactly up-front about the PD and such.

Quote:
Wealth: Amount of money and/or property desired or obtained by group; emphasis on members’ donations; economic lifestyle of leader(s) compared to ordinary members.
unknown

Quote:
Sexual Manipulation of members by leader(s) of non-tantric groups; amount of control exercised over sexuality of members in terms of sexual orientation, behavior, and/or choice of partners.
unknown

Quote:
Sexual Favoritism: Advancement or preferential treatment dependent upon sexual activity with the leader(s) of non-tantric groups.
unknown

Quote:
Censorship: Amount of control over members’ access to outside opinions on group, its doctrines or leader(s).
So what percent of the people active in the JLU have talked to us about the mess?

Quote:
Isolation: Amount of effort to keep members from communicating with non-members, including family, friends and lovers.
Quote:
Dropout Control: Intensity of efforts directed at preventing or returning dropouts.
Quote:
Violence: Amount of approval when used by or for the group, its doctrines or leader(s).
Quote:
Paranoia: Amount of fear concerning real or imagined enemies; exaggeration of perceived power of opponents; prevalence of conspiracy theories.
Are we talking about Prok or the JLU? Sorry.

Quote:
Grimness: Amount of disapproval concerning jokes about the group, its doctrines or its leader(s).
Like they must REALLY like it when we post jokes about them!

Quote:
Surrender of Will: Amount of emphasis on members not having to be responsible for personal decisions; degree of individual disempowerment created by the group, its doctrines or its leader(s).
Even when a member sees something on the wiki they know is wrong they will not change it.

Quote:
Hypocrisy: amount of approval for actions which the group officially considers immoral or unethical, when done by or for the group, its doctrines or leader(s); willingness to violate the group’s declared principles for political, psychological, social, economic, military, or other gain.
Ummmm ….

It's sad when people pull people they don't even know into their mental illness based RolePlay. Speaking of which, maybe I missed it here, but Fred linked GLE's wiki entry over at SCII. Crazy shit, yo.

And over on kryptonradio when they heavily censor comments they allow this:

Makes me wonder why so many comments are denied when someone making light of Infant Death Syndrome is allowed!

I included Kalel's comment to show where it came from in case he becomes the dictator and tries to change history again.

Nip/Tux is now speaking in terms like 'we', implying he is actually one of them.

I'm in the UK so I don't know much about US stuff, but what about a Freedom of information request on Linden Lab by the residents effected with a ban? so Linden Lab have 30 days to hand over everything they know about you?

Might give you some clues in the end.. Freedom of information legislation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unless the Us only applies to gov agency's and US corps are exempt.

Thanks for posting that Tux. I put it up over on my blog also. Remember folks if any of you run blogs, sites, whatever... be sure to put up things like this. Spell out Krypton Radio correctly every time, start using tags for it, use their names and some details. When people do searches for their site we want them to find all the bad details about them also. Not just their propaganda.

if that was one of the old originals, youll probably be shelling out a hell of a lot more money to replace it than you originally thought.........

I'm confused.. why would you do that. with your brother's book no less. maybe it had some sort of special meaning for him. o_o

Why would you do that...? just to make a point that you are laughing at the JLU?

Proper use for "WHY?" and "WHY NOT?"

Context of WHY:
~You should totally dance on the table!!
"why?" (why should you DO something??)

Context of WHY NOT:
~You cant do that!!
"Why not?" (why can you NOT DO something??)

Example of Incorrect use of "WHY"
~You cant do that!
"Why?"

People calm down about that Batman number 1 its not the real valuable #1 that would have been detective comics #1
Or this one which is a 10cent price tag orginally
http://http://cdn.comixology.com/201...AY101728_m.jpg

Alot of comics reboot their runs to #1 again.
DC comics just did it recenetly with 52 comics restarting at #1
That issue number 1 looks like its from either the 80s or 90s so its prob at most worth 10 to 20 bucks
