Yep. They bragged about it in their group notices too, one of them was leaked showing the title bragging about them getting me banned for speaking against them in the Green Zone Users chat. With the ban reason being underage.

My incident reports also showed that they had an AR party on me for disclosing chat logs on Tux's blog. Which resulted in my suspension until I sent in an ID, which I did not have available at the time since they wouldn't accept my college ID. So about six months of suspension because I showed Vagabond being a moron on Tux's blog.

And I did talk to LL they said I had to go through the whole process again and I might eventually but I don't really have anything on that account I want. Apparently they couldn't just do both at once like I've seen them do for other people.

Being honest, I'm not surprised they wouldnt give up ALT detection IF they had a reliable system working - they strike me as the types who would've convinced themselves that LL would let 'them' use it because they were doing such a 'vital' job.

I for one doubt they stopped working on alt detection. We all saw how the PD was still collecting IPs and Usernames up until a few weeks ago when people showing screenshots of it. Plus in one of the earlier leaks we saw a PD hud returning the response "No alts detected" in chat. Now with the JLU and PD working hand in hand on a lot of things along with membership overlap, well I think they shared the alt detection stuff. Currently I doubt they are using it nearly as much as they don't want to get caught red handed, but you never know.

I really don't think they're bothered about getting caught using it (ALT Detection)...

So far, they've been allowed to continue as they are despite the upset it's caused now people know about their activities. There's been no rush from LL to say "Whoa - hold on folks we need to look at this - JLU suspend operations - here's a temp ban". At last count there were 24 members of JLU - in LL terms that's a fly speck amid the folk trying to sign up for Premium and claim their 1000L$ and to by mesh'd stuff.

LL give the impression that the JLU isn't really bugging them in the greater scheme of things and JLU are sitting there knowing that and thinking they're invulnerable - KalEl must feel very re-assured that if he keeps quiet and tells another story no one's gonna really get on his case about ALT detection. Heck, they've breached ToS by tracking the online status of Linden's (along with other folk) - what's a small detector amongst friends?

But Soft said the PD had stopped when the TOS changed!

Of course we know this is untrue. Because a few tested it. Plus the last time I saw GLE in Sandbox Goguen he was wearing a live PD alt detection HUD. Even though he wasn't wearing a brainiac device. This was after the leak where the JLU had been told not to use their device of course. Didn't stop them using alt detection though.

Oy gevalt is prolly the most polite thing I can say

They call it corruption when Rodney talks to Woodbury, but they call it a wonderful thing when a Linden breaks the permissions system and hands them someone's object full-perm, gives them inside Linden information, and promises them a position of power in an official capacity.

It's bad if a Linden gives any group information they should not be giving, but in terms of "corrupt Lindens", the JLU were praising one of the worst.

When Rodney visited Woodbury he came across as kind of a self important dick. He would show up with a handful of girls he gathered up out of infohub and talk to one or two of the estate managers while ignoring most everyone else or treating them like something he wiped off his boot. If no one was there to lavish attention upon him because of his Linden title he would leave.

He was friends with a few of us but it never ever began to compare to the rule bending and asskissing going on between Plexus and the JLU.

This is pretty concerning to me because I usually deny even knowing my main and saying something like "lol who's that guy?" when someone calls me by my av's full name since it has lead to badly timed hardware bans in the past. I'm worried that this person may start attacking sims since I have been refraining from attacking any resident for a pretty long while now.
