In RL, so am I - but never found good knitting stuff for SL.

Also, would try and make some of the stuff I've made in rl for SL, but haven't managed the texture - knit lace is hard enough, making a drawing of it is much harder

In RL I am a spinner. Keep threatening to build a spinning wheel in SL.

Would you prefer double drive or scotch tension, single or double treadle? I've watched a spinner over the top of my laptop screen for so long I could probably even give you the choice of anims for long or short draft too

ETA: Would be a lot easier to make a drop spindle though - those you can just "wear" so you can take your yarn even into no-rez areas

I keep meaning to learn to spin - but I haven't yet. Got a russian lace spindle and a trindle [something invented locally] which is another sort of spindle.

You know, that sort of thing might just sell half-way decently.

That set came from What Next. You click the basket of knitting supplies and it gives you the needles and wool. Also, there's a bunch of chair poses and one of them is simply "knitting".

And check out the Wrigglesworth Residence in Tableau. They have some crochet/knitting anims with props.

One more trophy pic, sorry, but I added that other one too soon. Last night I won the trophy for best defenseman. I've wanted it for 13 seasons. I know, overexcitement about a prim cup but--!!!!

You, know, it just might... that is IF I can get it past my "anal-retentive perfectionist threshold" far enough to actually put it on the market

I use both an ashford traditional scotch tension (single treadle) and a whole slew of drop spindles (portability for the win).

long or short draft vary alot with WHAT I am spinning so that's a tough call

LMAO I am still laughing that ANYONE knew enough to get it right.

When I host my flexi&light class, I tend to open the lesson with a request that everyone tell me if they have local lights enabled. More than half don't even know that that is. (._.)

So, I rez this grey orb. It's turned inside out and has a small hollow in the center and it's set to give off bright green light. So, now, just slightly over half can answer the question.. (O.o)

Why it's so difficult to tell me you see green really blows my mind. (o.O)

Either way... Here's a closeup I took out of boredom while starting a class. =^-^=

I know how that goes - so many projects in my inventory that I never quite was happy with.

Also, thanks bunches, Eff - I'll look into snapping that up asap.

This is what it looks like after about an hour and a halfs modelling effort.. (in blender, haven't uploaded it yet and wont until I have it a bit more optimized) - next stages are optimizations, LOD's and texturing

Texturing is my real weak point, If anything consigns it to the bitbucket rather than the marketplace, it will be that.

For the benefit of Darkness and any other fiber geeks out there, it's kinda a hybrid of the two wheels I can see from where I'm sitting - an Ashford kit and an early model Schacht-Reeves (and no, it doesnt have drive band or tension line on it yet )

So I finally got around to checking out the speakeasy! it's a very nice place but my old shitty comp can barely handle it. But anywho.... when I was there, tracer was there too but seemed to be away.

So after I took a look around I put on a freebie penis and took a pic! (yes I kept the size modest and didn't even color it to match my skin!)

Censored as to not violate any rules.

I like his stance in this picture, as if he's saying "I approve of this!"

And I'm sure he did! I just wish I didn't forget to smile

I went into edit appearance earlier to tweak my shape. I didn't notice anything weird going on right away. I then looked down and saw this. It was a bit freaky.

Unedited, fresh from the Viewer. Yes, SL looks very nice now. In my opinion much better than some modern games. Like umm... Star Wa** noo to obvious.. lets say... S*** Wars - yeah that's better

Do you remember when ...

... rezzing of clothes failed?

It was 2007 and risk was high you appeared at a ballroom with a neat white default T-shirt saying "Missing Picture"

That was disgusting, now it is fun - Greetings, Lica

Well, i'm all settled in my new house...been offline for a few weeks

Came back and ran into the new owner of the Armada Breakaway sim..sorta pirate themed floating conglomeration of old ships. I popped over to take some high rez pics of the place for him and came out with possibly one of my best one off quick snap shots for a long while...no post processing, this is straight from the viewer...cam distance roughly 3 sims away....
