I just felt you should know the definition of vigilante is
1. a member of a vigilance committee.

2. any person who takes the law into his or her own hands, as by avenging a crime.

The JLU fits both definitions even though there's no need for either.

With the abuse system as it is if someone broke the rules we could report them and be done with it. Now instead people can call the JLU, they can be completely wrong in what they're "AR Partying" and we can all argue about it.

Basically there's no need for the JLU. I mean it is possible to still circlejerk superheroes without being bullies online right?

My kids had the video game. I couldn't tell you who was who. If I have to admit anything, I think Marvel was more my age group. All the comic books had Marvel on the side with the 25C price. So they're better than Capcom.

I liked the Archies and Richie Rich better anyway!

I doubt they would post it because their superheroing is "SRS BSNESS."

They have a documentary of these people on hbo. They ALL call themselves superheroes. What they actually do is hand out stuff to the homeless. While I agree that's a nice thing to do, anyone can do that. You don't need to be a superhero.

Still, I guess they're doing more than "police forcing a virtual world that doesn't want them."

Neighbourhood watch does not go out and patrol in a blood lust type hunt looking for griefers where none exist. Then get all their friends over to stand there and call the police at the same time.

Linden Lab (no 's') is short staffed. Being bombarded with AR's from different accounts when many of them are tp'd into the sim after the so called grief will not get investigated. LL will guess that due to the number there this grief is obvious. You exploit this.

No you are right, it is at the JLU's discretion. And when you see griefers and trolls around every corner I have little faith in an appeals process.

Like Drone1? I bet he isn't listed as a griefer? Despite the fact he hijacked a group of nearly 1000 members and disbanded it? If he is listed as a griefer then is his known alts listed too? Has he even left the W-Hat group and apologised yet?

This simply isn't true. I have tested this theory with a friend who has PhantomZone. One of my accounts is listed as a griefer by you and no matter what they did they couldn't grant me access.

Then explain this. There is one account on the third page which has logged into SL once directly into your welcome area. It has never gone anywhere else. It is in the IP list. Also I have seen that you use the PD's alt detection system prior to adding the feature to your own system. Cdurd77 shared that with you when his own domain was brought up in the RedZone lists and overlooked at that point.

Of course I agree on this. Despite recording media flashes to sub domains of kryptonradio.com and kryptonians.net on my own, I have no proof of where this actually comes from. But then, honestly, if demonstrate publicly you will be on the phone to the police right? Does the owner of the list think this game is worth a criminal record? I doubt it.

I do find it funny you are asking for proof when you act when there is none. I remember from the wiki where you claimed an account in search sounds like an alt of a griefer and AR'd it for alt abuse.

Actually, there are other ways, which is what I assume the bot account Brainiac Hax is for. But I gave this same advice to GLE a long time ago, I believe.

Second Life is anonymous, forums are anonymous. People put a lot of time into creating their anonymous persona. Despite the fact you actively hunt peoples real life information. This was seen in the wiki leak and the fact that Kalel telephoned my office last year trying to get me to take it down. This is cyberstalking.

So someone gave you a taste of your own medicine. Sounds like it hit a raw nerve.

At least you came back on track. As a JLU member it would be a good idea to address the main topic first. How is anybody supposed to have faith in you when you miss the point and go for something of no importance?
