Spare Parts Mod Shop, Risque Isle (152, 137, 1144)

Nothing would load in SL for me today so I'm not certain that it's there, but this is where she had it before. Made by Becky Nosferatu.

If it's not there, it's in the store named : c h i m e r a :
Though honestly, I thought it was in chimera instead of Spare Parts.

Oh, yeah. Neither of us has been in SL that much lately, and I'm so scatterbrained that I forget things that I don't see everyday. I'm pretty sure she did have a vendor at Spare Parts at one time, if it's not there now. But : c h i m e r a : sounds right as well, so try that too Ingrid. For some reason my internet connection is acting up pretty severely so I can't get in world right now to track it down, sorry.

Oh yes I have a sphynx avatar, I love it. <3
Also I'm very picky about my cat parts, even if I'm not neko at the current moment, I've always had trouble finding ears and tails I loved.

And DON'T get me started on the braided "neko" tails...

I've seen a lot of actual horse tails that were braided...at the top, where the bone is.

No, that's basically a French braid which is done along bone. I'm talking whatever you call a standard braid, the kind that requires completely loose hair. They look completely different.

In retrospect though, I suppose it is technically challenging to make a French braid in SL. That doesn't excuse the cat tails with braids, though. You can't braid normal-length cat hair and come away with your fingers intact. Maybe some especially endowed Angoras have hair long enough and thick enough to braid, but they'd be the extreme minority.

ETA: The braided horse tails I'm talking about are braided all the way around, not like a French braid that's only on one side. Though like I said, I suppose it is prohibitively difficult to do a proper braid in SL. Personally I'd sooner do without than look like I broke my tail bone in numerous places. /me shrugs.

Arguing over this pretty much got me to give up on Neko in SL...

I've got my cat tail, but if I start thinking about those horse people, I just get annoyed, so its best to avoid the whole scene.

I often just wear ears with no tail at all (or animal ear headbands!), it's amusing how often people think I've misplaced it..though I have been known to purposely hold a tail in my hand instead. At least there are no fights about it.

Next time just laugh caustically and tell them they know nothing about anime.

"I sat too close to a rocking chair when I was a kittehn."
ETA: 'pparently, "Snow White" dusn' exist anymoar...

WISE FWOM YOUW GWAVE... oh, has it really only been two days since the last post?

Since this thread engendered both lively discussion about the current participants and photos of people's butts, I was wondering if any of you participated in the Neko project from the original post or are planning to do so?

I got off my proverbial butt re: sphynx cat neko and started on a skin last night . I may well have my pic taken for it (if they allow part time nekos). That is if I can be bothered to finish. (Not sure I like the bandaid over nose look anymore etc)
