If the AVH was not neutral, there would not have been an interview with Phox where he could talk about his perspective on Emeraldgate. And it's 100% certain that if he actually discloses correspondence that is embarrassing to LL, the AVH will feature an in-depth report.
AVH does two types of stories:
1. Goofy fluff / opinion / made up / stupid pieces
2. real, in-depth reporting on some events

A lot of people see the first type and discount everything Pix writes as fluff, which is a major mistake. When the situation calls for it, Pix knows how to "bring out the big guns" and do serious reporting.

On the rare occasions I read Prok's blog, it is with tongue firmly in cheek. Being a godless geek myself, I'll have to go and look that one up.

The interview I read was clearly obtained because Phox knew they would go easy on him. Pix doesn't ask him a single challenging question. Instead, there's stuff like this:

Quote:
_Phox: Iíve received offers to do work for some other virtual worlds, I might look into those as well.
Pixeleen Mistral: there are plenty of virtual worlds to choose from
Oh, make him a cup of tea and give him a hug Pix, why don't you?

So to the Emerald Developers saying they will ban me for reason here, they better think twice, because its my First Ammendment rights to say what I please when I please."

/me shivers with antici....pation!
Its a shame that First Amendment Rights don't apply to private locations for speach (i.e. privately run forums). I'm not even American I know that.

Its a shame he/she agreed to a TOS when they signed up that said LL could modify the TOS, including the introduction of new policies, by giving appropriate notice and if they user didn't agree to an update they would need to stop using the service.

Its a shame that I've managed to disembowel his entire argument in two points (not).

After going home I turned on the news ... someone had a 4-wheel-drive SUV upside down on the tracks.

Knowing the area I was a bit puzzled by this. The only possible solution I could come up was someone speeding on ice, plowing through a guard rail on a bridge, some rather interesting aerial acrobatics, then ending with hitting the tracks.

Hoo! So we can take it Prok is a theist of some sort, since she's trotting out the old line.
Quote:
you can't be moral if you are godless.
I'm a bit disappointed. It's such a crock. I recall Richard Dawkins interviewing an American evangelist who came out with it. Dawkins, as I recall, said something like: 'So the only thing thats stops you going around pillaging and murdering is fear of divine punishment?' I don't think he got much of answer beyond a bug-eyed stare.
However, we're alright here. Prok repeatedly refers to SLU as a 'Sharia Court' so I guess she regards us all as theists too. Though if I ever meet Prok in-world I might be wise not to wear my 'Begum al-Andalus' title.

You clearly haven't tuned in on her myriad tirades against SLU and many of its members, not to mention, the name-calling tactics she almost incessantly uses against anyone who crosses her or slights her in any fashion.

Tongue-in-cheek, I think not . . . unless you're talking a different kind of cheek.
