I will make more stand alone objects, free for zRZ owners, that include auto-consent functions if they remain in the sim 60 seconds or longer after being given a notice that they must leave within 60 seconds or will be considered as accepting consent. 60 seconds is more then enough time.

Sure you could deal with only those you need to look at....
But hearing everything I see that an auto grant consent function is needed.
Such as "Hello, you have 60 seconds to decide if you want to consent to show your alts to RZ owners or not. bla bla bla bla.... should you choose to stay we have hereby notify you that we will assume you have chosen to grant consent."
Then consent would be auto granted.
I just wish to let the fire burn down a little before dropping that function into their lap.

Great points. LL only wanted to pass the buck. Greenies wont have anything, not even if I removed alts all together, they wont have that and would complain of something else, like logging usernames and profile pictures on the website for example.
TPing into a sim and going AFK is not a reasonable excuse. They can claim they never clicked consent when they did, who is to say they did or didn't? Who has the IP of the user who clicked? Who has the consent logs? They are lucky I am fair about this and not fabricating consents.
Actions of Phoenix do not at all make this all moot. Seeing the URL will be effective for about 30% of users. Of that 30%, only XX% will use it. Of those who do, XX% will attempt to block zRZ. Consent or boot functions will deal with them until I make RZ impossible to identify by URL.
As for LL, they will allow me to be creative with consent as long as it is in all languages, and gives them a sporting chance.

quickware is basically toast. LL did not tell him about the fact that Alts are still allowed to be logged and displayed... or anything about consent. They pulled down his tool from the market and in world.. while allowing me to sell mine the entire time. Even sent him a very rude email, and didn't bother reasoning with him. That was messed up.
Any new form of consent will be optional, not required.
There will be many new stealth options soon.

Someone could create a list of GZ users, whose alts could be linked up, etc. Groups do need to be listed in profiles, but when the group member list is public that makes that very easy.
I better get an auto consent request thing ready.

Thanks, I realised it wouldn't be free after reading Ciaran's post. I find the tiny text on that forum a little difficult to read.

I agree though, even if he doesn't do a ragequit database dump, he is going to be relieved of everything on that server at some point... assuming it hasn't happened already.

Uhm NO! Remove any and all alt matching functions and this is over with Redzone. I'll use the Phoenix patch when it's available. My whitelist will likely be very tiny, blacklist might be bigger by a little, might be bigger by a lot. Most will be single instance media permission.

Well, perp, you can give all the LSL you want to people, but *if LL firewall your servers off their net, you're screwed.
The prims won't be able to phone home*
If the prims try to email your server, those emails have to go through the sims' email process.
If your scripts are open to allow copy/paste from outside of LL, then we can all see how they communicate and what to.
If your scripts are NoMod to try and hide them (1) they can be zapped in the inventory system and (2) LL can open them.

ETA: And while the servers were not blocked by LL, I wouldn't be in the least surprised if copibutters and griffers used those scripts to send all sorts of stuff to your servers.
