Are there any boycott lists of merchants who support the upcomming changes on XstreetSl? I want to boycott everyone too.

Too much drama, and it won't change anything.

Boycotting XSL in whole and using it only as an additional avenue of search for ultimately buying things in-world, on the other hand... well it probably won't change anything either (unless 100,000 other people join in) but at least we'll be spared the drama.

I firmly believe that the recent policy change is wholly the Lab's doing, and folks who support the decision are not to blame for this latest in a string of customer service failings on the part of Our Benefactors.

I *heard* that the FIC merchants who got a survey suggested all these changes!!! I *heard* that Cristiano *wrote* the speech for Collussus Linden I have also *heard* that the (Boycott or otherwise) lists must be made in teknicolour or no one pays them attention!!1!!1!1

Sadly my boycott was to take what I had on Xstreet and remove it. I'll be deleting my magic box shortly and moving my items to the other non-LL owned sites. Good thing I'm on vacation this week.

On a slightly unrelated note, has anyone ever heard of a boycott that *actually worked* on the grid?

It seems that for any issue X, there will be protagonists that some can't stand, and antagonists that others can't stand, and the best way to "get back at one's enemies" is to be anti (or pro) issue X.

No matter how ridiculous or relevant, pointless or critical, stupid or enlightened issue X may be.

Are you going to boycott every merchant who stays on XStreet? What a stupid idea - merchants had nothing to do with this decision and are dealing with it as best they can. They should not be boycotted, whether they are fine with the changes or not - your idea is absolutely idiotic and will only hurt other merchants.

unfortunately a couple of the merchants who did comment in the blog threads weren't exactly tactful. One of them was downright insulting to those affected. I can understand emotional people taking offence and deciding we were all like that.

Unless you are a collector of overpriced circa 2006 prim style builds with textures and scripts of questionable provenance on spam keyword filled ads (Looking for merchant resource full permissions sculpty boots? Hope you like looking at Japanese building prefab ads) then I don't think you need to be worrying about any boycotting since you are unlikely to be buying anything from a Linden sycophant anyway.

Nothing. But when you search for them Linden Lab inserts a million ads from their personal rimmer and seller of japanese shit builds. The person that Linden Lab allows to insult everyone who objects to Linden Lab's new policies.

I.e.; she is allowed to break every rule. Every single rule. But if you call her out it is you that will be banned. And then you won't be allowed to be a content seller under the new program in which only Pure Aryans will be allowed to sell content.
