I mean...seriously. Okay. Anti-inspect shields. They started out like with..say, 50 prims or so. And a price of what..200l? I think we're up to the full 256 prims now, and this glorious incarnation of an idiotic idea can be yours for only 1.5k L!

That's right ladies and gents, 256 prims with a simple default{ touch_start(integer foo){ llSay(0,"BAWWWW, "+llDetectedName(0)+" tried to copy meeee!"); }} script can be -yours- for only 1.5k!

Oh lord. Top it off with lies that it protects from copybot and you got one helluva deal there, eh?

The irony is, last time I saw somebody with a shield like that, I did rightclick -> Derender, checked their attachments and what do you know? Copybotted. Those shields sure come in handy for those who don't want to show the 1-day creator...

perhaps the item discussion should become filled with how any of these dipshits, and don't they all look the same, that come around wearing that shit will be banned on site and reported to the anti copybotter groups for mass banning across SL.

Irony is - I usually only inspect folks that have them.

9 times outta 10 its a one way ticket to kickbannsville because I doubt anyone in their first 3 days (even if its a 'old user - new account') could manage to create exact replicas of the shit I see everyone else wearing so perfectly.

I could care less what complete idiots want to spend their money on, but I hate that scum like these people are making a profit off it.

I think LL really needs to make these things against TOS. And any other items which claim to do things that are impossible for a scripted object, or impossible period, such as protecting from copybot.

Exaggerating is one thing, but this is outright scamming.

I think Creators against Copybot is one. Try just typing copybot in group search, you'll probably find hundreds.

Not that banning such people really accomplishes anything anyways, unless your store is on a sealed estate. but even then it's just a matter of making a new account for them.
