Looks like someone at LL made an error on Wednesday, when two Landstore Pool regions appeared on the Main Grid. The 500 Landstore Pool regions are used by the Land store to facilitate almost instantaneous sim activation on purchase. Basically LL have about 500 unused regions online but invisible in-world which are moved to the new location and made visible when a region is bought. The regions have always been visible on the Web SLURL Map but not on the in-world map (same as the Teen Grid regions).

On my Wednesday daily survey I picked up Landstore Pool 220 and Landstore 224 appearing in the Grid , but didn't notice this until today .It turns out they were not only visible but both regions were publicly accessible . Here is my Survey Bot having a look round Landstore Pool 220.

It also turns out that all the neighbouring Landstore pool regions are visible as well, though they are not on the map and not open for public access.

I've reported this as a Security Jira and am posting now since the issue has been fixed by Patch Linden (in under 2 hours from reporting) - The two regions are still visible on the map but have been taken off line.

My Survey Bot is wondering what she'll do with her bounty

(actually I haven't the heart to tell her she's probably not getting one)

I almost understand what is going on in this post, after 2 and a half years in SL! I will be in-world later to sign autographs if you need physical proof of my awesomeness.

Why did I try to alt-click on Tyche's av and zoom in?

Maybe a order was canceled or some initial billing issue screwed things up.

I love ordering an island and standing on a shoreline and watching it build itself in the sea.
