Figured I'd create it...doing the rounds of the sims now, lets post pics of the best freebies and finds.

I was sorting through a few of my finds last night, and really trying to be especially ruthless (hehe) and get rid of any freebies I knew for certain I would never wear. I think there were still a few that made me go "oh hey I can keep this" but they were few and far between. I haven't tried on the clothing ones yet though, so there might be some fun things in there.

Last night I actually spent five hours at the fair, between waiting things for rez and being pretty thorough with each stall, except for South West when I was just ready to be away from all the pink and brown and cupcakes.

So far my favorite things have been from Maitreya. Their freebie doesn't look so great on me but they have some new long styles which are impeccably made and have just beautiful texturing. Truth is another who got my $L and rightfully so. Obviously no surprises there

Discord Designs had a couple of nice ethnic dready hairs for dollarbies, and they have a new wild mop of hair called Chad which is fun but doesn't suit my head shape very well

They're not mod, they're scripted, but they look great on my new shape/skin combo.

Oh, and Curio Obscura's new hairs are, as always, epic

She made three new styles, all of them utterly fabulous and whimsical and silly, and for anyone who's never seen the Rococo Fantastico demo'ing that is just an experience. (Just do NOT try it on at the actual hair fair O.o)

Here's my favorite that I nabbed, the lampshade style

A little tug of the spring curl and it lights up!!

Quite liking the Exile freebies

Simple but well made and usable, these are keepers!

I also like the Damselfly freebie, it came in the whole fatpack which is really nice, it's no mod so it's nice to have at least a few options. Ingenue's freebie is tres chic and classy, so I wouldn't miss either of these.

Here are a couple more that I bought, so these aren't freebies. They are only at Hair Fair though, that I know of.

Left is JE Republic's Claire style, and right is Maitreya's Dylan. Love the textures on both and they're both very well made.

I didn;'t know Curio Obscura made hair! I've bought a bunch of their trinkets, its so great. I think I remember her telling us she worked for Disney at some point, which seems to be a big influence on the stuff she makes.

I was trying to do my usual strategy - swing through all the sims and grab the demos/freebies I want, go home to low lag to sort, try and keep the demos I want to go back and buy, and then go back to get what I want for certain...but the grid monkies are screwing with my plan! DAMN YOUSE!
