Y'all let me know if Linden Lab ever implements anything that actually helps estate owners sell more land or manage their holding better. I won't be holding my breath.

As I said over on the Official Clusterfuck. LL will choose the least effective but easiest course of action. Every single time.

While I am a small estate (13 sims) I think it's nice that LL is helping out the people who helped LL grow. This is something I've always wanted to a degree, even if I am not one of the beta people. It makes sense that LL picks a huge great estate for a test. I was very appreciative of the free plot at the land expo. While it didn't bring in any new residents (yet), I did meet a lot of interesting new people.

I think all the people who are complaining about it, are just going to have to endure their sour grapes for now. I bet their tone will change once they get into the program.

That question may be twice as funny considering he used a fabric store as an example.

Oh look you brought out Nina too.

Has someone let Briana know she's apparently banned from here? I just noticed and I was so excited I could pop.

They'd be a helluva lot more effective if they stopped telling people to click on a hypertext link that doesn't exist. (or is this only a Windows thing?)

OK it wasn't this message, but quite a few of the previous ones had that CLICK ME text on them.

Then again, expecting logic out of Linden Lab is a sure path to insanity.

Nothing against Adam, as I don't know him and have no beef with him, but I don't like how this was done. While it seems like it makes sense, it would have not seemed like FIC stroking if they made a blog announcement and opened a brief application window or some kind of auction to test it out.

It does exist. It's just not a different color. That's why it says "CLICK" in all-caps, to let you know that it works.

It doesn't work for everyone though, I know it doesn't for me. Today's did for some reason, but all the past ones I have tried to click, they didn't click!

Huh. Weird. It worked for me the one time I tried it in the past, but usually I have no interest in the link anyway, so I hadn't checked.

[putterputterputter]

...it worked just fine for me just now, for what it's worth. Using Cool Viewer 1.22.11 on Windows.

It's nice of the gruesome twosome to make the SL Forums even less palatable.

I also don't pay attention to MOTD because I'm usually anxiously watching the progress bar and hoping I don't get "Login Failed: Your account is not available..." or "Unable to connect to Second Life. Despite our best efforts..." messages

It takes so long for SL to load for me, I never see those things. While I wait I usually make coffee, walk the dog, have my car detailed....
