I have the same response to many of the pics here that I have to the Strange Pixels book that Mourna and Grady made, namely: *this* is the sort of stuff that you could put in front of the most ardent of virtual-world skeptics, and if it didn't go at least someway to "explaining SL" for them, nothing would. SL has lots of technical limitations that drive me crazy, but all of that is forgotten (perhaps more correctly, transcended), in this thread.

Clothes, shoes and hair are stuff I bought in 2008. No news here, but I thought I should put it on, because I like it. Easy picture, easy editing. I was going for a more "edgy" look but I lost my inspiration. And it was a long hot day in RL, so this fits my mood better than tattoos and leather.

ETD Aveda’s short crop2
J’s real toe sandals pearl beige
Aoharu flower layered dress yellow
Zaara Melange earrings + left bangle
bMc! Polished golddust bangle
Skin: LeLutka prototype A, a recent freebie, might still be on the desk in their skin section
PC eyes, Easter lilac freebie, PC had their old freebies out for a while. Not sure if they still do?

EDITED: I suddenly see that just half the strap of one shoe is rez'ed in the left pic. Or maybe I'm so daft that I used two strap versions? Ah bugger, I guess we'll never know. The straps come in 3 different versions.

I just went to Advanced > Character > Slow Motion Animations, then tinkered with my emoter until I got something I liked. I think it wound up being the 'afraid' emote, with the pic taken after I hit stop and the mouth began to close. Oh, and one of the Gala June skins.
