Wow, I have not seen this in a while. I thought it was a client bug that was fixed sometime last year. Other than the standard answer of clear cache and update drivers, I do not remember for sure what the problem was.

I'm still learning to walk (hobble) along in the boots. I fall over quite a bit. The biggest frustration is not being able to walk up stairs or inclines though; there are stores I just can't enter now because they have a lip at the entrance.

I've been locked in this setup for just a bit under 7 hours of in-world time so far.

That used to happen to me just about every single day. I was constantly rebaking. It all stopped when I started using the newest Release Client.

I've had the same issue with baked textures for awhile. Quite common for me to come back and have some portion of my avatar with a weirdly wrapped texture drawn from the present screen and so on. A rebake fixes it, but it's annoying. I'm using the latest Cool Viewer.

I've had this issue longer than I remember not having it. There are a few jira's about it (not that I can find links now, I'd prefer to search through a massive plate of spaghetti looking for the short piece), but the only way to stop it is not to tab out while your av is rezzing. Fixing it is just a rebake. I'm getting quite used to wearing the UI on my av though.

I did find out it was only client side as a friend couldnt see me like that this time. Before that it was every dang which way with people telling me all the time that i had "odd" clothing or skin/eyes. Most definitely damn annoying though.

That is on the latest RC too, I get it with every single client

I can remember this happening as far back as early 2007, if not earlier. Also, while the problem may be client side, it does occasionally send a baked copy of your av's borked textures to SL. I can recall often how many times friends have commented they see local chat or minimaps plastered to my av.

That happens to me so often and has for so long that I don't even really think about it anymore. cntrl-alt-r is one of the few keyboard shortcuts I know offhand.
