After skipping class I was hanging out at the vending machines...

But, no one was there... so I figured what the heck, im outta here.... of to get some money (lucky mom forgot she lent me her ATM card!)

Then off to get my car my daddy got me for my 16th birthday... he got it for me so I would not show mom the pictures of him and his secratary I found...

Off I go... down to the dock's to a great candy store I know..... nothing like some choclate pocky in the afternoon...

Oww its getting a bit dark.... wonder if a new ship is in port... I so do like Sailors .

Edit: woops forgot to put in what I was wearing

Don't spend money on Photoshop, Kyllie - just grab a copy of GIMP.

You don't need it. You take great pics! Plus you are cute as hell. I like the "Photo Journalist" approach. I reminds me of my college days , wandering The City with my Minolta x700 and lots of TriX Pan.

My pics were taken in a L$25 photo poser I got from SLX. Nothing fancy there.

It is a LOT of fun. *smiles*

And there as many ways to go about it as there are people blogging. If you do decide to take the plunge, wordpress (my preference) is free, gives you lots of storage space for pics and isn't too hard to learn. The advice about GIMP is good too. It's nice to have Photoshop but GIMP is a good (free) alternative.
A photo booth like the one from Kyoot Army is a good thing to have and I don't remember it being too expensive. It comes with a lot of backgrounds and tints installed and you can add your own.

Not sure where the Photosphere shop is located - it used to be at the other end of the Silent sim before it was redesigned

I had a wander round the sim yesterday, but didn't notice any evidence of Photosphere. I can't imagine it has been discontinued - must be a real moneyspinner...

Why do they feel the need to trash their build every 10 months?

And yes, Photosphere is awesomeness....

The silent sim was great and was very sad to see it go. Can't remember her name now, but if you search for Kyoot Army she sells the photosphere stuff in her main store.

Just there now. The Photosphere is not available at the new store - so I checked Saeya's profile, and apparently, its own store is being rebuilt.

Geaven, I have a Photosphere which you are more than welcome to make use of in the meantime.

aww thank you max , i have access to a few friends' photospheres but i'm trying to get one of my own so i can tweak it to my heart's content. i was looking at madamg's n30 studio which i think is awesomeness but a tad bit expensive for my budget.

i think i can actually build the photostudio but just am not good with the lighting. i might just get this https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.ph...&ItemID=914662 though and stick it in a hollow box

I'm really surprised she doesn't sell the Photosphere on XStreet, she sells many of her clothes there. And she used to sell it on OnRez.

Anyway. It runs about 1500 IIRC, and thats only with base background textures. The additional packs are extra, I can't remember how much. But it is an excellent item. Simple, elegant, functional, low prim. All of the big "studios" just seem like overkill to me.

Sarah wrote a tutorial about how to make your own basic sphere, lemme find it....
Taking Decent SL Pictures Without Photo Equipment Tutorial | Your2ndPlace

Grab Caliah Lyon's Windlight preset, and you won't need any local lighting whatsoever:
Optimising Windlight for Avatars 2.0 « Soigné: Style in Second Life

And yes, it is terribly fun. I'm always happiest when I have a task and a purpose, so it suits me well. And gives me an excuse to buy stuff. You should do it Kyllie! You have a very distinctive and interesting style.

Edit to add: I've never tried gimp, but I hear great things about it, and you can't go wrong with the price. If you're not ready to make the jump to Photoshop, I used Paint Shop Pro for many years and loved it to pieces.
