I was going to say that's one of the few gestures I wont ban when I'm DJing, oh and the other one that says how awesome the DJ is

The baby giggle makes me shudder, and if people do too much howling and HOOing they will get an IM from me pretty damned quick. Never understood why anyone thinks its entertaining to repeat a sound and a buncha chat over and over

The other night I was DJing and I could hear another song in the background. I was searching to make sure my Last.fm hadnt started up or maybe there was something wrong with the song but no it wasnt coming from my computer so then I played with the sound level in SL and realised that someone was playing music gestures, repeatedly

I was so surprised I asked in open chat who was playing music gestures and a person piped up and said "yes its me I cant hear the stream so I'm playing my own". So I told her that we preferred to listen to music one song at a time here so could she please not play music gestures while there was a DJ playing. And can I just say again? And also

How can anyone possibly think its ok to play music gestures over the top of a DJ who is playing an event... Oh and I forgot to mention, she was actually doing this over the top of another patron's request

I've been DJing for 18 months in SL and I've never had that happen before. I do leave my sound level up quite high so I can catch repeat offenders on the sounds, but this just left me gob-smacked...

I am giving you a 7.3 on the Trout Recreawhoosits Slut Rating Contraption.
You are just shy of being a complete slut, but you clearly have one hiding within. So, congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut, but only in the best possible definition of the word.

Yeah, no... I got no response to that. Some people just shouldn't be in the gene pool.

You are marginally a slut, but still all lady, and you know exactly when to cross that line. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a slut, but only in the best, most empowering and beautiful definition of the word.

Peacocking is a pick-up technique which involves adding an odd or unique accessory to their outfit to make them different. It makes them stand out and sets some difference between them and the people around them. In my experience, if a girl has a unique vibe, she'll be more intriguing and draw attention. Supermodels tend to have something different and odd about their faces, lead dancers tend to have different colored leotards or something... change your hair color to something wild (but still pretty of course!), or wear some very odd and different shoes (heels? All the girls are wearing heels, how about lace lingerie with army boots!)... along with all the other advice in this thread that should help you be more memorable.

Edit: The British slang too, that's another way to be unique as Johnnie said. If you use voice at all, your accent will be a very big draw to yankees
Or....
