Ditto on Simbolic. It's not quite as feature-filled as Babbler -- I can't set a different language for each person in the room, for example -- but it works well and has a lot of languages on offer. And it's free, which is hard to beat. If you use it and it works for you, the developers have a tip jar and doubtless appreciate any contributions.

I have never been a fan of babblers or translators. The spam is annoying and most people never learn to turn on and off as needed.

Speaking of spam, Avoid scripted items like excite, Relying on a script makes a ton of spam.
I worked as a floor madame in one club that allowed excite. Some nights it was a screen full green. Also I think it says "Hey I am stupid" I can't think for myself.

lol i don't generally have my xcite open too people too click on *giggle* but if i do it's only for my arse etc.. it's suprising how much and often i'd be asked if i had a spanker or xcite ass lol.

I actually agree with most what you said Roxie, i'm not a huge fan of xcite but some people like them so i bought it anyway. I think it's something extra too click on lol. Bling yuck i hate bling and i don't wear jewellery full stop, just don't like the stuff in SL or RL lol.

That's probably the one I hate most, after the child giggle. The latter reminds me of nappy adverts and subsequently, excrement.
