I often search for "unusual shoes" to see where my blog and stuff are on google.. this was a hit I found..

Whoa.. wait.. I made THESE shoes.
They are not exact.. of course not.. you can't have moving gun sights on a RL shoe.. BUT if you read the Lagerfeld quote. "He saw an image of a gun somewhere"

Now.. the gun is in the same position, and it's even the same type of gun. It's a platform..

I dunno.. you all have been around alot more than me.. and some of yous is even lawyers!

Advise me

Probably all you can do is be flattered you've been referenced? *Or maybe find a way to redirect some of the hype to yourself and use the news to stir up interest in new versions of that shoe?

Ideas cannot be copyrighted, only the execution of that idea.

You both made shoes with a gun as the heel, but they are not prim-for-prim copies of each other. These are both different expressions of the same idea.

You have no case.

You'd have to have had a design patent on your shoes, and even that would have been of limited use since it only takes minimal changes to get around them.
