Tesla has a great sculptie fedora.. If you're up for a little shopping try the KMADD male shopping center.. lots of great male stores there with doing the whole Armidi thing. Drawmachine makes some kick ass male shoes.. and you can hit the ETD sale until Dec 26th to get some good male hair.

Finally! Something I'm good at around here!
I'd like some more info please.

Do you like your shape? Skin?

Do you prefer suits or do you like to dress casually?

I get what what your saying and have seen a lot with poses that look pretentious too. I've been working on getting one together for as long as I can remember with poses I like. When you don't just use a pre-made one and you fill it with poses that you fill fit you personally I think they are as much a form of self expression as clothing or hair. All just a matter of personal opinion I guess.

I was at 1-800-Betties yesterday and she has an outstanding collection of sculpty hats - fedoras, trilbies, bowlers, that sort of thing. Fantastic stuff.

I'm thinking the David Tennant as the Doctor pinstripes and Chucks. Which also makes me think YUM.

Sounds to me like Lordfly wants a buncha people to come on a huge group Shop Around The Grid expedition and that sounds like my kinda thing

We could all bring our LMs and draw them out of a hat to decide which one's next.... Imagine the poor shops that got flashmobbed by us!

So, date and time has been called for... my suggestion is the Saturday after Christmas - 27th December.

And do I have some LMs for you, baby!

And even if you don't use stands, sits, etc... I don't see how anyone, ANYONE can tolerate that default walk.

You might want to try Muism for clothes, they have some really nice suits and casual stuff. Casa del Shai has that 'adultery' suit that most guys seem to have. Kari by Menno Ophelia has some amazing shoes for guys, as well as belts. And I totally second Tesla for hats!

As far as AO's, I don't really know. Does Luth (Reel Expression) have a guy AO? Her poses are amazing and I always use her AO's.

Hit me up inworld if you want landmarks or a shopping buddy

Yes, Luth has a couple of male AOs now (yay!) and they are pretty good. The Male Casual is awesome. THe majority of my stands and my walk are from Luth, and nearly 2 years old now I reckon

We got him sorted btw... don't know if he'll post a picture. All in total, under L$ 1K

Sculptie fedora that he added the helicopter thing to. (Launa Fauna)
Sculptie converse with skull laces option. (not sure - he got those all by himself)
Black rimmed glasses that are more rectangularish. (gritty kitty)
Jeans (Shai)
Kept the jacket, shirt and tie from Shai (adulter set) because it's scruffy and it works for him.
My male casual AO - was a gift as long as he didn't have it on when I was around, which he's already broken. Rather funny story about attaching the hud to his hip in there somewhere.

*goes back to lurking*

AO, a few fedora (still with awesome helicopter)

PrimOptics makes the best glasses IMHO... Maybe Muism for clothes.

Oops too late...

If you got him the male casuak AO, I think he's copying Aesop now too. -.-

Fine, fine, pics!

I didn't change a whole lot. After some cursory searching I figured there aren't very many other "disheveled tie / academic jacket" combinations out there on the grid. Everyone wants to be all muscular James Bond wannabees.

Here's the new getup:

From the top:

Hat: "Adore a Fedora" by Launa Fauna
---helicopter addition by Marcos Fonzarelli
---Mental Math script by Kenzington Fairlight
---FIC pin by Marcos Fonzarelli
---Smiley graphic by me, inspired by Jauani Wu
--- Torrid Midnight pin by Mistress Midnight

Glasses: Prehistoric Glasses by Noam Sprocket
Jacket: Acadame Jacket by Shai Delacroix
Tie: Adulterer Tie by Shai Delacroix
Shirt: Adulterer Shirt by Shai Delacroix
Jeans: Newsboy Jeans by Shai Delacroix
Shoes: Pornstar Hightops by Coke Dreadlow
AO: Men's Casual by Luth Brodie

That's why you get a blank AO system, and put together a pose set of your own choice from individual walks/poses/whatever :3
