I'll pop in once I get off campus.

How will populating the place with stuff/personalizing it go?

I remember back when I was involved in the Forum Cartel hangout, it was open-build to any members of the Cartel group. Then there were a few appointed officers that went around cleaning up anything extraneously primmy, runaway scripts, et cetera. It was great to have the ability to personalize and add our own touches to the place.

The land ultimately belongs to Dnate so I'll let him make that decision. I'll make sure to point this thread out to him when he gets home!

Oryx Tempel and I coordinated that build, and that's where my alt CartelTrustAccount Mumfuzz came into being - that was before I turned him into a communist zombie. It was a hoot. I never did much as an officer except for the few times we experienced griefers, which was pretty rare. I froze a few people who were raising cain, and allowed the cartel members to have their way with thim for a while - also awesomeness. It was pretty fun to let the members do their thing, and have a responsible group of people who all really contributed good stuff. My work on the Hangout is one of the things I'm most proud of in SL. It's fun to look back on a project and realize that it never could have initially come together without the help of at least a dozen people.

I can't wait to check this one out tonight!

Thank you to Vertigo and Dnate for their incredible generosity. I am going to sticky this thread so that people are aware of the location. I will also try to be more involved inworld events. SL seems to behaving a lot better lately for me, so I will try to be in world more.

Thanks Dnate and Verti, I got to meet a few SL'ers in the pixels that I'd not had the pleasure to meet before now.
