They've given me "disciplinary warnings" for merely saying the word "fuck" in concierge chat before. I said something like "If I wanted the KB pasted to me I would have looked it up in the fucking KB in the first place"

What I want to know is why a company thinks it's their place to "discipline" paying customers. We aren't their children. AT&T doesn't "discipline" me if I prank call someone. Where the hell does Linden Lab get off "disciplining" paying customer for anything?

I pay Linden Lab about $18,000 USD per year. Most companies kill for contracts that large, but LL "disciplines" you for saying Fuck. Fuck that.

It's just a stupid move. If you call your cable company and yell at the operator and curse them out. you will get hungup on probably, and whatever problem you are having will not be addressed, but as long as your bill is paid, they aren't going to turn off your service. And that's all SL is, like you said. It's a service. That's all. The smell of money is usually stronger than the smell of shit. I'm not advocating special treatment for special people, but a warning should have been enough in this situation, no matter who the person was.

LSL implementation being pretty incomplete is an issue. And allowing people to upload mono assemblies unsandboxed is way too dangerous.

You'll need a sort of sandboxed language to complete with SL, that's the bottom line.

Also, opensim is slow.
