I was there two times, the first time I went there I put on a I protest protesters sign for all of two mins, then had notorious ad farmer Kalyrra Heart sit there and call me fat, and say I was a slave to my best friend Yohan (also very anti ad farm) for an hour in much more colorful language. Fact of the matter is it was just sickening to see someone who made a living via extortion protest anyone. Or as my friend put it, She has absolutely no respect from anyone so she's a bad person to be leading any cause.

I think it was more his tone than the fact that he was giving suggestions. I don't think there would have been much complaint had his post been along the lines of, "wow, this sucks, in my experience you get good results when saying x, y, and z to customer service, if that helps." I mean, I gave a suggestion in my first post in the thread, and nobody jumped down my throat for that (though I was prepared for a little snippiness, which never materialized).

A new or new-ish person to this community does not have those two-way advantages, which deflect much misunderstanding and flamage.

Being judgemental of someone you dont know is just plain arrogant, in my opinion, and if nobody knows you either then dont be surprised to be told to stfu in varying degrees of civility (which are often directly related to the tone of your judgemental remarks).

Yes, I'd have to agree....part of it was that I was speaking to Sarah more as businessperson to businessperson and not as a guy trying to commiserate.

Would it help to know that I once had my account suspended for a day for swearing like a sailor at a griefer who orbited me, because he ARed it and LL interpreted it as "verbal abuse"? Of course, in that situation, I think someone at the G-Team had a sense of humor, as they enacted the suspension at 11:00 PM, making it effectively last 1 hour. My boss has made it clear to us that no matter how angry we get at someone, no matter how fucked up a situation is, we do not ever break the ToS/CS at any time, because LL holds all the cards and it simply isn't worth the risk.

Where I come from, when you fuck up, people tell you that you done fucked up, point out why you done fucked up, and make sure to beat it into your head that you done fucked up so that you don't fuck up again.

This is sincere and not a snark: That's great. But this is a forum comprised a diverse group of people. It is not where you or anyone comes from. And there are ways to say "you done fucked up" in a public forum that would be more positively interpreted even by a variety of people. There are also times in which this type of observation are more likely to be accepted and thus be more effective. Lastly, other people who know Sarah better gently warned her about doing anything further to exacerbate her situation before this thread derailed.

I understand your point and it is great to try to help people avoid further problems, but timing, wording, and relationships are key to doing this effectively and without being misinterpreted.
