Agreed. Today I was told to FUCK YOU by at least 5 people for the nerve of shutting off their satellite that hasn't been paid in 3 months. I had to take it. It's my job, contrary to some in this threads utopian idea of a CS job. I also had someone tell me to tell a repair technician who was 2 hours late that he hoped the tech died, and that he had children who had a horrible christmas because of it.

And NONE OF THAT warrants a hang up or I would be disciplined. I have to mute my headset and grumble silently.

If a customer gets very abusive, I can hand the headset off to a supervisor who also is not permitted to hang up on an abusive customer.

So to sum up:

1) I agree with Sarah, I think LL needs to suck a donkey cock over this ban. It was outrageous.

2) I would LOVE to have the easy CS jobs that don't require listening to abuse. Please. Hook a girl up.

3) Someone in particular needs a lesson in empathy or perhaps a huge SL business that is going under due to LL bonehead moves.

She was suspended for three days. There is a very big difference.
