Maybe the real issue that hasn't been touched upon is the fact that SL is obstensibly an adults only world. Adults sometimes use bad words in conversations. Maybe it's time to stop with the "ZOMFG You said a bad word" mentality and let us decide how we will speak to each other. In RL if someone uses language you disapprove of, you usually cease interacting with them. I really don't need LL to be my nanny.

In response I just want to say that I hope you don't mind if I don't ever make a withdrawal on that capital I have banked here. If I've earned the right to tell other members to fuck off, it's not a right I particularly want to exercise. Tthe fact that human communities do naturally tend to behave in the way you have described doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to rise above it.
